Jon Stewart‘s new movie, Irresistible, was previously slated to open in theaters on May 29th. Then there was the pandemic, the film was pulled from the schedule, and we were left to wonder if Focus Features would still try to make it a theatrical play or go the VOD route. And his new movie, Irresistible, is a return to political satire that suggests that the comedian turned filmmaker is woefully ill-suited to address our tumultuous present.
